Roy W. Dunn is the victim in "The Brush Man". He was a popular door-to-door salesman who sold brushes and household products.
Roy confronted Glenn Drew for abusing his wife Diane and son Drew. When Roy approached Glenn, he stabbed him to death in anger. Glenn dumped Roy's body into a duck pond.
It wasn't until 2009 that Roy's body was found, resulting in the truth coming out. Diane and Kevin are reunited and imagine Roy watching them.
