Isaac was a teenage boy who, in 2003, purchased a Pontiac Trans Am formerly owned by April, who had in turn bought it in 1981 from Will Harrell.

Unfortunately for Isaac, the car was found to have been involved in the 1981 murder of Paige Pratt and was impounded by Detectives Nick Vera and Will Jeffries. Isaac, who had only had the car for two weeks, naively asked if they'd be done with it in time for the dance on the following Friday. Neither detective had the heart to tell him no. Vera doubted Isaac had insurance either.
