Ryan Cavanaugh is a FBI Agent who helped Lilly to identify the serial killer.
History[]
He showed up after the post officer was shot, causing him to reveal that Diane Yates wasn't allowed to be on the case.
It is later revealed that he used to have a young fiance who died of an illness. He had a fling with Lilly Rush when they investigated a murder that happened at Woodstock.
