Mason "Runner" Tucker was a drug addict who shot and killed Joe Washington, his former best friend and a cop who had been trying to protect a young girl, Samantha Robbins who had become addicted to drugs. Tucker claimed "ownership" over Samantha and had attempted to abuse Samantha the night Washington died. Tucker shot Washington as he discovered Tucker's attempted abuse, killing him as he was attempting to rescue Sammie from his "ownership". Tucker immediately regretted his actions and quietly prayed for forgiveness unaware he was being recorded. Tucker eventually turned his life around and became a successful business man, but the death of his best friend would continue to haunt Tucker for the rest of his life, unable to forgive himself for his actions.
