Maeve Bubley is the mother of murder victims Vaughn Bubley, Cedric Bubley, Quincy Bubley, and Luther Bubley. She has only her youngest and surviving son left, Patrick Bubley.
Horribly, to retrieve the body of her second son, Cedric, Maeve was implied to have been coerced into taking crack and having sex with Miguel Maldonado, who was also behind the murders of her other sons. The despair of what had been done to her and her family turned her into an addict. She lost her job at the beauty salon.
After her fourth son Luther is murdered in 2003, Maeve is reunited with Lilly Rush, who had investigated Vaughn's murder but had to give up. Lilly helps solve the cases of the Bubley sons' deaths and arrest Miguel, saving Patrick. Maeve is last seen checking into rehab.
