Kim Jacobi is the daughter of Adam Jacobi and Emily Jacobi, older sister of Stewart Jacobi, a "friend" of Rick Lambert, and the stalking/almost murder victim of Ed Marteson. She was the sole survivor of Ed's attack on her family, which left her comatose for months.
History[]
Kim's family was killed by Ed, a young man who was obsessed with her and desperately wanted to be her boyfriend/lover. He thought he first met "Kim" when they became friends online and later became romantically involved. Kim initially indulged "Romeo"'s romantic gestures, as she was struggling with adjusting to her family's move and difficult financial situation, and believed he was the only one who understood her. Ed thought he was saving Kim from "the pain" her family was causing her, but he was dead wrong; they worked out their problems already before he came.
In reality, it was Kim's mother that Ed was communicating with; Emily was catfishing Ed because she came across him while trying to communicate with her friends from the family's hometown in Cincinatti, Ohio, after they moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She pretended to be Kim because Emily despised her own appearance and wanted to have her daughter's characteristics: young, pretty, attractive to men, etc.
