Harrison Kemp was a minor character from "Libertyville". He was the father of Harry and Caroline, and head of Kemp and Son Incorporated.
Harrison warmed up quickly to the ambitious Julian Bellowes and promoted him to Vice-President. He also gave his blessing when Julian and Caroline got married.
Harrison died before Julian's case was reopened in 2009. A former maid from the Senator's Club named Mary Chisolm told the police that there is a coverup in Julian's murder. She claimed that he was killed at the club and his body was taken from there to Summerton where he was found.
Harry admitted that he did have a fight with Julian, but he did not kill him. Julian revealed that he was black passing for white. Harry told this to his father after Julian died. Harrison used his influence to end the investigation quick and avoid scandal.
