Gloria Flagstone is a character from "Wings". She was a stewardess supervisor at GWA in 1960 and would also read a children's book to restless kids on flights.
Gloria had been having a ten-year affair with Captain Rowland Hughes, who was known for sexually harassing other stewardesses. She hoped he would one day leave his wife for her, as Gloria was desperate not to remain unmarried once she turned 32, the cutoff age when the airline would let her go. However, Hughes was fired after Ally Thurston reported him. Gloria met with Ally at the Republican Hotel and tried to convince her to take back her complaint. When she refused, Gloria killed Ally by hitting her head with a rotary phone. She then somehow snuck Ally's corpse down the incinerator, where it remained for the next 48 years.
In 2008, Gloria is working as a ticket counter lady at Bargain Air. When Ally's case was reopened, she pointed to Dean London as a possible suspect. Will Jeffries, however, made a breakthrough; the room where Ally was killed was registered to a "T.C. Bromley", the name of the author who wrote the children's book that Gloria liked. He had the guest book analyzed and found that the signature of "Mr. Bromley" was the same as Gloria's. She is arrested for murder.
