Miss Danbury was a teacher at Carrie Swett's high school in 1998. She taught a health class which included teaching about safe sex. She was frustrated, however, by the fact that school policy forbade her from actually teaching how various birth control methods worked. Jerry Wood also disrupted the class occasionally by making fun of Carrie's repututation.
Miss Danbury's whereabouts in 2007, when Carrie's murder was reopened, are unknown.
