A.J. Pritchard was a criminal defense attorney who represented Major Moe Kitchener after he was charged with running Detective Lilly Rush's car off a bridge in 2009.
While cross-examining Lilly during Moe's bail hearing, Pritchard attempted to illustrate that she had not seen Moe behind the wheel of the car at the time. This tactic backfired, however, when Lilly brought up evidence that Moe had a record of driving the car regularly. Pritchard attempted to object but was overruled by Judge J. Wyatt.
Ultimately, however, Judge Wyatt ruled in favor of a relatively low bail setting for Moe, with a trial date set for eight months from then.
