Chris was a young man who fell in love with Daniela in 1979. He was quite handsome, as even Lilly pointed out to Cassie (Chris' classmate who was infatuated with him but was constantly rejected by him) that any girl would be crazy about him. He used to sneak away from home to see Daniela at her apartment and after a while they became very close so he asked her to his prom. On the night of the prom, they were getting ready to leave her apartment when his father, Pops, who had followed him, came and tried to stop them. Pops berated and hit him for dating a prostitute but Daniela jumped in and beat him up, causing Pops to realize that she was a man (because of the way she fought). Pops then asked Chris how could he ever consider dating a man and forced him to reject her. She got very upset and took the corsage Chris had given to her and threw it at them and Chris then went to the prom alone and miserable. After a while, he realized how much he loved Daniela, despite her being genetically male, and rushed back to her apartment only to find her lying in bed in a pool of blood with a gun to her head. He then tearfully apologized for being too late, took her corsage and spread the petals around her. He then threw her bloody clothes and the petals away and buried her, never telling anyone what happened until the case was reopened. At the end of the episode, he showed detectives where he buried her so they could retrieve her remains. When Chris returned home, he saw Daniela in her prom dress, smiling at him. He then walked towards her and they danced to their favourite song from 1979 'Goodbye Girl'.
