Bill West was the husband of Patricia West and the father of Hilary West. A domineering man, Bill wouldn't let his wife get a job beyond tending their home. After Hilary became pregnant in 1964, Bill had Hilary sent away to St. Francis' Home for Unwed Mothers. Sometime later, Hilary was found murdered a few miles from the home. Bill insisted that he and Patricia say nothing of Hilary being at St. Francis, out of fear of embarrassment.
Bill had passed away by the time his daughter's case was reopened in 2007 meaning Patricia was finally free of his ways.
